The Healthcare Mortgagee Advisory Council (HMAC) is a non-profit consortium of FHA-approved lenders and industry partners who are active in financing and servicing Residential Care Facilities under HUD’s Section 232 programs. HMAC’s primary missions are to:
- Facilitate effective communication between the Office of Residential Care Facilities (ORCF) and its lender partners.
- Partner with ORCF’s efforts for continuous improvement through exceptional customer service, processing efficiencies, and streamlined operations
- Provide advice and support to ORCF senior leadership and key staff
- Assist in and facilitate the training of ORCF, lender, and industry partners
HMAC Conference Information
The annual HMAC conference was held in Bethesda, MD November 13th – 15th. Please see the agenda for more information on the various panels. In addition to the HMAC conference, ORCF intends to hold two lender dialogue sessions on Underwriting and Asset Management. These are being planned and arranged by ORCF, so please watch for an email from HUD. We are excited to announce that all membership renewals, conference registrations and sponsorship opportunities are now managed online. Please remember only members can register for the conference.
How to Become a Member
FHA lenders and companies/individuals who provide services to the Section 232 lending community are eligible to join HMAC.
